Kim Chae Yong 首次來台個展！星藝廊CADIC Gallery 鈕扣，是連結的起點，也是一種微小卻頑強的存在證明。韓國藝術家 Kim Chae Yong 長年以回收鈕扣與金屬零件創作角色，打造出充滿情緒、社會觀察與故事性的《1+1>2》宇宙。 這些角色擁有名字、個性與站位，彼此之間的靠近、拉開、停滯，都是關係的演出。 本次展覽以「串聯 Link」為題，聚焦於角色與角色、觀者與作品之間，那些難以言說卻切身真實的情感張力。這一次，來到台北星藝廊，請讓一顆鈕扣牽起你與藝術的連結。

來自韓國釜山的藝術家 Kim Chae Yong，擅長以回收鈕扣、金屬零件與壓克力板，創作出具備故事性與情感張力的角色裝置。他所建構的《1+1>2》宇宙，呈現出一種既孤獨又群像的情緒風景。

本次展覽以「串聯 Link」為題，從「鈕扣」的象徵出發，延伸至角色與角色、觀眾與作品、材料與社會之間的連結。每一件作品都是一場微觀的社會劇，邀請觀者透過凝視與共鳴，在角色之間，看見一段尚未命名的關係。

這是他首次來台展出，也是一場屬於你與角色之間的串聯契機。

Kim Chae Yong’s First Solo Exhibition in Taiwan｜CADIC Gallery

Hailing from Busan, South Korea, artist Kim Chae Yong creates character-based installations using recycled buttons, metal parts, and acrylic sheets. In his 1+1>2 universe, each button becomes a figure—named, positioned, and emotionally charged—capturing the fragile links that shape our shared existence.

This exhibition, Link, explores connection:
between character and character, viewer and artwork, material and meaning, society and the self.
Buttons, once discarded, are transformed into symbols of renewed relationship.

Through still yet resonant scenes, Kim invites us to reflect on the invisible threads that bind us.
This is not only his first solo show in Taiwan—it is an invitation to find the button that connects you, too.

關於藝術家｜Kim Chae Yong

出生於1995年，來自韓國釜山，畢業於釜山大學美術系雕塑組，活躍於韓國當代藝術與公共藝術領域。作品結合社會觀察、色彩敘事與微觀角色設計，持續以《1+1>2》為核心發展創作，展出形式橫跨美術館、街頭空間與藝術市集，備受亞洲當代藝術圈關注。「1+1>2」代表的不只是數學概念，而是人與人相遇時，產生的超越個體的情感力量。

About the Artist｜Kim Chae Yong

Born in 1995 and based in Busan, South Korea, Kim Chae Yong graduated from the Department of Sculpture at Pusan National University. He is active in the fields of contemporary and public art, and is known for his practice that merges social observation, color storytelling, and micro-character design.

With 1+1>2 as his ongoing conceptual core, Kim's works span from museum exhibitions to street installations and art markets, drawing growing attention across the Asian contemporary art scene.

For Kim, 1+1>2 is not just a mathematical expression—it represents the emotional energy that emerges when people encounter one another, creating a resonance that exceeds the sum of their parts.
